This Privacy Policy explains how RosyGlow ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use our mobile app and related services (the "Service"). Please read it carefully. By using the Service you consent to the practices described below.
I. Scope
This policy covers data collected directly through the RosyGlow app. It does not apply to third-party sites or services accessible via links in our app; those services are governed by their own privacy notices.
II. What We Collect
1. Usage & Platform Data
We collect information about how you use the app — features you access, editing actions, downloads, sharing, and other interaction data — to improve and personalise the Service.
2. Device & Log Data
When you use RosyGlow we collect technical data necessary to operate and secure the app, such as device model, operating system version, app version, IP address, language and country, network quality metrics, and service logs.
3. Advertising Identifiers
On platforms that provide advertising identifiers (e.g. IDFA on iOS), we may access them for advertising measurement and analytics only if you permit such tracking. We will not enable cross‑app tracking without your consent.
4. Feedback & Support
If you contact support we collect the details you provide (e.g., email, screenshots, messages) to respond and improve the Service.
5. Face & Media Processing
For face-editing features we process facial landmarks (eyes, nose, mouth) to perform transformations. Processing is transient: images, landmarks and generated outputs are used only to render results and are deleted after completion, unless you explicitly choose to save or share them. Do not upload images of others without their consent.
6. Cloud Processing
Certain rendering tasks run on secure cloud servers. Files and metadata uploaded for processing are retained only as long as necessary to complete the task and are not repurposed for unrelated uses.
III. Permissions
We request only the permissions needed to provide functionality. Common permissions include:
- Camera: capture photos/videos;
- Photos / Media library: select and save media;
- Microphone: record audio for videos (only if used);
- Network access: upload/download content for processing.
All permission prompts are presented by your device OS. You can revoke permissions at any time from the device settings. Revoking prevents the related feature from working but does not erase data already processed.
IV. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, maintain and improve the Service;
- Process image and video editing tasks;
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse;
- Send important notices (account or policy updates);
- Comply with legal obligations.
V. Analytics, Ads & Third‑Party Services
We use anonymized analytics to improve the app. We may integrate third‑party providers (analytics, crash reporting, cloud processing, advertising). These providers may collect identifiers and usage data under their own policies. We require partners to protect data and will only enable advertising tracking if you provide explicit consent.
VI. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use cookies and related technologies in web components (help pages, dashboards) to support authentication, preferences, analytics and ad measurement. You may control cookies via your browser settings; disabling them may reduce functionality.
VII. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. Generally, personal data is retained for up to 48 months unless law requires a longer retention period. Usage/analytics logs may be kept for shorter periods.
VIII. Data Sharing & Transfers
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose data to: service providers who process data on our behalf (hosting, analytics, payments), law enforcement when required by law, or in connection with corporate transactions (merger, acquisition) — subject to protections.
IX. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise rights, contact us (see below). We may require identity verification before fulfilling requests.
X. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
XI. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures (e.g., TLS encryption in transit, access controls) to protect data. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach occurs we will notify affected users as required by law.
XII. International Transfers
Data may be processed in countries other than your residence. When transferring data internationally we use standard safeguards such as contractual protections to secure your information.
XIII. Legal Bases (where applicable)
Where required by law (e.g., GDPR), we rely on legal bases including consent, performance of a contract, legitimate interests, legal obligations, or protection of vital interests.
XIV. Complaints & Supervisory Authorities
If you believe your rights have been violated you may file a complaint with your local data protection authority. We ask that you contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern.
